About Me

Meisha Williams Bertels

Meisha Williams Bertels is an experienced digital strategist, content creator and social impact advocate who supports corporate clients, small businesses, and non-profits as their DEI expert. Meisha’s primary mission is to use the power of open conversation to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace. In an increasingly competitive global world, an inclusive culture is key to helping companies connect with customers and achieve their objectives.

Meisha’s passion for equity and inclusion stems from her childhood days in the South. From bridging the gap as a diversity and inclusion advocate in college to being a speaker and mentor to high school and college students early in her career, she firmly believes in the power of paying it forward - allowing everyone from all backgrounds to reach their full potential.

Over the last 20 years, she honed her skills by working and partnering with companies and brands such as Sports Illustrated, FOX, American Idol, Bloomberg, MySpace and United Way. It was through these formative experiences that Meisha developed her approachable style to create more inclusive workplaces through honest conversation.

Meisha helps people get comfortable with uncomfortable conversations.

When not working, she is giving back. A tireless women’s rights advocate, Meisha serves as Board Member for UN Women USA’s New York chapter and focuses on issues facing Black women and girls today.

A native of Alabama, Meisha received her Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance from The University of Alabama. Currently, Meisha resides in New Jersey with her husband and son, filling her life with laughter and purpose.
